The development of health knowledge has result to many discoveries of medications and symptoms of diseases. The process of these discoveries might take several years to study. This is because human body from time to time may result different tendencies to many diseases.

This is like the long term study of 12 years that was done by Stuckey et al that observed 409 women of postpartum. Among those 409, it was identified that 71 women were diagnosed to have Postpartum Thyroid Dysfunction (PPTD). Following 12 years afterwards, they discovered that 27 women with PPTD (38%) and 14 women with non PPTD (4%) were positively suffer from permanent hypothyroidism, which is a disease of endocrine illness consequential from the lack of thyroid hormone. Increases skin cancer in women under 40 years

The study, published in the Journal of the American Medical Association, said that the increasing number of patients with this cancer shows that young people ignored the warnings of the risks of tanning leather.

The number of cases has been detected in the types of the disease known as squamous cell carcinoma (SCC, for its acronym in English) and elementary cell carcinoma (BCC), they said.
